As a Fort Worth Newborn Photographer, I always do my best to leave space in my schedule for families who contact me after baby has arrived. Life doesn’t always follow a plan, and flexibility matters – especially in these first few weeks. So even if your baby is already here, I’d love to help you document this season for your family.
Newborn sessions are some of the most meaningful ones I photograph. This chapter of life is full of tender, fleeting moments – the fuzzy hair, the tiny fingers, the sleepy snuggles, and the way they look up at you with brand-new eyes. These are the details you’ll want to remember when the blur of the newborn days starts to fade.
I photograph babies from just a few days old to a couple of months. Every stage is beautiful in its own way. In the early days, babies are usually sleepier and love being swaddled. As they reach two to three months, they’re more awake, expressive, and full of little personality. There’s no “perfect” age – just the one your baby is right now.
Booking Before or After Baby Arrives
If you reach out before your baby is born (usually around the 2nd or early 3rd trimester), you’ll reserve a space on my calendar rather than a specific date. That way, once baby arrives, we’ll choose a time that works best for your family. And if your baby is already here, we’ll simply find an open spot and get your session scheduled. No rigid timelines – just an easy, relaxed process during a season when your family needs flexibility most. Plus, to make it even easier, I have a client closet for moms with beautiful dresses, so you can focus on snuggles and memories instead of outfits.
