While I love in-home newborn sessions and think there is something incredibly meaningful about photographing your family in your own space, I know that sometimes a studio is still a preferred choice. Sometimes families don’t have a lot of natural light, or the thought of a day away from the house sounds more appealing, or maybe they simply love the look and feel of neutral backdrops. Every room of the house gets great light at different times of day. This newborn session was photographed mid-morning and each room we used was beautifully lit. The outdoor spaces are fun to use too and add a variety to your gallery. There’s a wide front porch and plenty of room out back as well. Depending on the time of day, we’ll find the best space to use.
