Getting family photos taken can feel like a lot. Choosing outfits, bracing for potential meltdowns, hoping everyone cooperates… sometimes it’s enough to make you want to skip it altogether.
But it really doesn’t have to be that way.
As a DFW family and newborn photographer, my goal is to make the process feel easy and relaxed. Every full-length session includes a prep guide with helpful tips, outfit ideas, and access to my client closet of beautiful women’s dresses – so you don’t have to shop or stress over what to wear. I’ll also help you choose a DFW location that fits your unique family. And when we’re together, I keep things calm, natural, and low-pressure so you can focus on what matters most: being present with your people.
This Fort Worth fall photo session with a family of four is a perfect example. It was such a joy to see them again (I had the honor of capturing their newborn photos, too!). We spent the evening following the lead of their little ones – a toddler and a sweet baby. There was snuggling, adventuring, silliness, and even a toy car that made an appearance. We kept it simple and let real moments guide the session.
Instead of focusing on perfect poses (because let’s be honest, those can add to the stress), I focus on connection. The real, in-between moments often turn out to be the most meaningful – and that’s exactly what I’m there to capture.
The result? Joy-filled, tender images that reflect exactly what this season feels like.
Afterward, their message said it all: “You outdid yourself – these pictures are amazing 🤩.”
