2. An Evening in Grapevine – The Christmas Capital of Texas
Just a short drive from Fort Worth, Grapevine, known as the Christmas Capital of Texas, is the perfect spot to enjoy the holidays. The entire town is decked out in festive lights, and Main Street is filled with Christmas decorations, music, and holiday-themed activities including an ice-skating rink, singing snowmen, carousels, and plenty more. Take a stroll down Main Street, visit Santa’s workshop, or explore the Christmas Village, where kids can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. This magical setting is perfect for an evening with the whole family!
3. Gift of Lights at the Texas Motor Speedway
For an unforgettable holiday event, head over to Gift of Lights at the Texas Motor Speedway. This drive-thru experience features millions of Christmas lights and themed displays all set up along the Speedway’s track. And a big plus – you can stay nice and cozy in your car while experiencing all the lights.
4. Stockyards Station
Nothing says “Texas holiday” like the Christmas in the Stockyards. Experience the excitement of the Stockyards with festive decorations and special holiday-themed events. You can enjoy ice skating, live music, and even snap a photo with Cowboy Santa! The main event takes place December 6, but you can go during the holiday season and still enjoy some of the festivities. 5. Fort Worth Botanic Garden – Christmas in the Garden
Christmas in the Garden is a perfect experience for your family and it takes place at the beautiful Fort Worth Botanic Garden.
