Whether it’s your first baby or your fourth, those tiny details shift quicker than you might think. The sleepy stretches, the way their fingers curl around yours, the soft little yawns – they change fast. In the moment, the days (and nights) can feel never-ending. But looking back, it all moves in a blur.
That’s why I love newborn sessions. This one, photographed in North Fort Worth, was extra special. We started slow with mom, dad, and baby, just soaking it all in. No rush. No pressure. Just following baby’s lead and capturing what unfolded naturally. Snuggles, soothing, sweet little moments that speak volumes.
Then we brought in the rest of the family – grandparents and an aunt who were all there to be with their new little love. If grandparents are ever visiting during your session, don’t hesitate to ask to include them. I’ll always say yes. These aren’t just photos, they’re part of your baby’s story. And years from now when they look through photo albums, they’ll want to see their loved ones. And that grandparent bond? It’s gold.
