DFW Family Photography // Creekside Photo Session in North Fort Worth
One of my favorite parts of your DFW family photography session is planning the experience with you. Every family is unique, and I love curating sessions that fit your vision and personalities. Locations play a big part in the experience, and I carefully select Fort Worth and Dallas locations that might best fit your family.
For this session, mom mentioned that her oldest enjoyed the outdoors and exploring (and might not want to be in every photo). With that in mind, we went with a creekside location in North Fort Worth. Taking your session creekside is perfect for balancing both lifestyle and traditional family photos with candid, playful moments. Setting aside time during the session to play in the creek, gave space for this family to be present with each other and enjoy some special memories of their little ones playing in the water.
This session quickly became one of my favorites of the year. Mom and dad arrived relaxed and let their little ones take the lead. We explored through the tall fields, capturing a mix of joyful interactions and and sweet, quiet moments. Then, we made our way to the creek for even more fun. Watching this family explore and embrace the moment made my photographer’s heart so happy. After the creek, we wrapped up the session with a cake smash to celebrate their youngest’s first birthday!
