With fall approaching in Fort Worth, many families are getting ready to book their annual family photo session. As a family photographer, I recommend scheduling a family session at least once a year, and if you haven’t yet, now is the perfect time.
As a mom to two little ones, I understand how busy life can get! Scheduling your family photos shouldn’t be something that gets lost on the never-ending to-do list and with fall approaching, the photography calendar can get pretty full. Freeze Time
The number one reason to book your family photo session is to freeze time. One minute you are rocking your newborn baby in the middle of the night, and the next you are sending them off to school! Photography has a way of slowing down time, capturing little details you will look back on for many years. The way your baby looked at you when you sang “Baby Shark,” the curl of their baby hair, the way they reached for your hand, or the way they giggled when you tickled their little belly. I could go on and on about why I love photography, but this first reason encapsulates so much of it. Photos freeze memories so that they last forever and across many generations.

During your family photo session, we will focus not just on capturing these precious details but on creating memories. Think of it as a special family date, where you get to spend quality time together, laugh, play, and simply enjoy each other’s company. As a lifestyle photographer, I focus on capturing natural moments between you and your loved ones. I will provide light prompts as needed, but I will spend most of the session following the lead of your family and little ones. You can expect to snuggle with your littles, be silly, and have fun (for dads too!).
